I am Yixiang Xiao. I graduated from New York University Shanghai in Computer Science/Data Science major, and am currently pursuing my master degree in Computer & Information Science in University of Pennsylvania. The main programming language that I use are Python and Java, but I am also familiar with C and Javascript. I am interested in software development and machine learning applications. I have done some projects related to these fields. For SDE part, I designed a Search Engine which crawled and indexed over 300000 online documents, making use of Amazon Web Services. I also designed and created an Anime Review System which allowed users to watch and comment anime. For ML part, I worked as an intern in AWS, during which I contributed to the open source machine learning Python packages GluonTS and AutoGluon. I also participated in the DARPA Forecasting Floats in Turbulence (FFT) challenge, during which my team has successfully predicted the trajectories of drifts on North Atlantic Ocean within certain errors.
